George J. Chang, MD, MS, MHCM is Associate Vice President and Professor of Colon and Rectal Surgery at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He has extensive expertise in the multidisciplinary treatment of colon and rectal cancer, including advanced minimally invasive robotic and exenterative surgery. His research in clinical comparative effectiveness for cancer treatment and care delivery has informed treatment guidelines and national surgical quality standards. He has authored approximately 300 peer reviewed manuscripts, edited a textbook on rectal cancer, and serves on the editorial boards of several major journals.
