Jérémie Lefevre, MD, PhD, is Professor of Colorectal surgery after immunotherapy at Saint-Antoine Hospital, AP-HP, and Sorbonne University (Paris). He trained in general and digestive surgery, became Associate Professor in 2012 and full Professor in 2015, after a PhD on hereditary colorectal polyposis. His clinical and research interests focus on colorectal cancer, rectal cancer with sphincter preservation, hereditary colorectal diseases, and IBD surgery. He has authored more than 330 peer-reviewed papers and several surgical textbooks, and is involved in French cooperative groups such as GRECCAR and colorectal surgical societies.
