Marta Scorsetti MD, Full Professor in Diagnostic Imaging and Radiotherapy - Department of Biomedical Sciences Humanitas University, Director of Radiotherapy and Radiosurgery Department in Humanitas Cancer Center (Milan).

Prof. Marta Scorsetti has a pivotal role in the development of Radiosurgery and Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) in Italy. With her experience, Prof. Scorsetti has contributed to the Humanitas Cancer Center in becoming a leading Hospital for the treatment of liver tumors, pancreatic cancer, lung neoplasm, and oligometastatic disease. Her main interests and activities encompass radiobiology and physics, innovative approaches in radiation treatment planning, the integration of local and systemic treatments, and the implementation of highly conformal radiation therapy techniques, such as Radiosurgery and SBRT. She served as President of the Italian Association of Radiobiology (AIRB), and he is currently Chair of the ESTRO SBRT Focus Group. Furthermore, she contributes to numerous projects on abdominal tumours, including her roles in the ESTRO Upper-GI Guidelines Committee and the publication of guidelines by the International Stereotactic Radiosurgery Society (ISRS). She has authored over 400 scientific articles in international peer-reviewed journals, contributed to several books chapters and edited/reviewed for many academic journals.
