Paolo Delrio is Chief of Colorectal Surgical Oncology at the Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori di Napoli, IRCCS Fondazione Pascale
He has a large experience in minimally invasive approach to colorectal cancer (laparoscopic/robotic). Also he is largely involved in the treatment of pelvic advanced disease, retroperitoneal sarcomas and primary/metastatic peritoneal disease with CRS-HIPEC.
He has performed more than 8.000 surgical procedures for cancer in the last 25 years.
He is involved in trials on preoperative approach to rectal cancer, metastatic colorectal cancer, ERAS in CRC and has been author of > 270 publications and books with a SCOPUS H INDEX 47
