Bislenghi Gabriele graduated as MD at the Università degli Studi of Milan, Italy in 2009. He became surgeon in 2015 and joined the staff of Abdominal Surgery at the University Clinic Leuven in 2019 after a two-years fellowship in colorectal surgery. He received an international postgraduate training in colorectal surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. He defended his PhD on Crohn’s disease recurrence at KU Leuven in 2023. He is member of the S-ECCO (European Crohn’s and Colitis Organization) board for the period 2025-2027. He’s currently developing multiport and single port robotic techniques for colorectal procedures.
