Gertjan Rasschaert is a consultant GI oncologist in the department of Gastroenterology at UZ Leuven since 2023. His main interest is colon cancer and rectal cancer. He currently pursues a PhD program at the KU Leuven laboratory of Digestive Oncology under the mentorship op Sabine Tejpar. The main focus of his research is the neoadjuvant treatment of pMMR/MSS colorectal cancer with immunotherapy and especially response prediction and tracking on a translational level.
