Lynn Debrun is clinical nurse on the colorectal surgery departments at University Hospitals Leuven. She’s got her nurse degree in 2015 and started as colorectal oncological coordinator in 2018, prior to working as a general nurse on the abdominal surgery department. In her rol as oncological coordinator she ensures the optimization of collaboration between the oncology, radiotherapy and surgical departmens at patient level, both internally and externally, and guides patients throughout the surgical process. She has a specific interest and expertise in LARS and LARS-related QoL following rectal resection, by monitoring and treating patients through teleconsultation as a clinal nurse consulent.
