Eva Pape, RN, MSc, PhD works as a nurse manager at the department of radiotherapy-oncology at Ghent University Hospital and is a clinical professor at Ghent University in Belgium. In 2022 she obtained her PhD at Ghent University Hospital and the University Center for Nursing and midwifery at Ghent University. In her PhD, she explored the experiences, needs and perspectives of several stakeholders (patients, informal caregivers and healthcare professionals) about low anterior resection syndrome after rectal cancer treatment. Eva is also an executive board member of the national society for Oncology Nurses (VVRO). Next to that she is a member of the research working group of the European Oncology Nursing Society (EONS).
