How to get there
 

  • BY CAR FROM MALPENSA AIRPORT

Take the A8 motorway towards Milan. Join the West Ring Road (Tangenziale Ovest) and exit at Quinto de' Stampi / Via dei Missaglia (Exit 7bis). Continue by following the directions given in the section “From the highway.”
 

  • BY CAR FROM LINATE AIRPORT

Take the East Ring Road (Tangenziale Est) towards Genoa, then merge onto the West Ring Road (Tangenziale Ovest) and exit at Quinto de' Stampi / Via dei Missaglia (Exit 7bis). Continue by following the directions given in the section “From the highway.”
 

  • BY CAR FROM CENTRAL STATION

Take the inner ring road (“dei Bastioni”) around the city as far as Porta Ticinese, then continue by following the directions given in the section “From Milan city centre.”
 

  • BY CAR FROM MILAN CITY CENTRE

Go straight on from Porta Ticinese along Corso San Gottardo, Via Meda, Via Montegani, and Via dei Missaglia, then follow the signs for “Istituto Clinico Humanitas” or “Basiglio – Milano 3.”
 

  • FROM THE HIGHWAY

From all motorway exits, follow the signs for the West Ring Road (Tangenziale Ovest) and, once on it, exit at Quinto de' Stampi / Via dei Missaglia (Exit 7bis). Follow the slip road to the roundabout and continue towards Rozzano (3rd exit). Continue straight for about 2 km, following the signs for “Istituto Clinico Humanitas.”
Alternatively, exit at Ticinese / Rozzano (Exit 7). After the stop sign at the junction leading onto State Road dei Giovi (SS35), turn right. At the traffic lights, turn right again into Via M. Amiata, which becomes Via Isonzo, then turn right once more following the signs for “Istituto Clinico Humanitas.”
 

  • BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Humanitas is connected to Milan and some nearby towns by dedicated shuttle services:

  1. MM2, stop “Abbiategrasso”: Humanitas–Municipality of Rozzano shuttle connecting the green line Abbiategrasso (Piazzale Abbiategrasso) with Humanitas.
  2. Bus line 230: connects the Abbiategrasso bus stop with Humanitas (terminus at Basiglio).
  3. Bus line 221: connects Humanitas with Pieve Emanuele, Opera, and Locate (from Rozzano, Via della Solidarietà).
